Primarily a runner, Mary was searching for something to create balance within her high impact workouts. She was introduced to Power Yoga by a friend, and was hooked right away. The heightened mental focus and physical strengthening it offered was so beneficial, Mary chose to deepen her practice and study further, in order to share the benefits of a consistent and mindful yoga practice with others.
Mary believes that Power Yoga should be a reflection of its title, and be utilized to empower and serve the student physically, mentally, and emotionally, while being accessible to all levels, and abilities.
Through carefully crafted and unique individualized sequencing, practices are customized to support each student in the discovery of new mental/physical edges, and internal stillness, while simultaneously sculpting a leaner, stronger, more flexible body.
Mary received her 200 hr. RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher, Yoga Alliance) from CorePower Yoga, Hollywood. Mary holds a Bachelors of Psychology & a Masters in Film Studies from The University of West Florida.
